Q. Who was Dr. Roy's graduate advisor? When did Dr. Roy graduate?

A. Dr. Roy was the last graduate student of Professor Thomas A. Steitz at the Yale University.  He finished his graduate research work in November 2018 and graduated the following year.

Q. What does The Roy Lab do with the donations?

A. Firstly, ‘Thank You’ for the donations! We try to amalgamate the donations into everyday workings of the lab to facilitate successful research. As a new lab, our biggest challenge is to maintain functional balance of resources and productivity. Any amount you have donated will go directly into the mammoth of this machine called research. Please help us grow and ask your friends. We appreciate all the support.

 

Q. What is different about Scripps-Florida from the one in California?

A. The Scripps Research Institute boasts two campuses at the two coasts of USA. Even though these campuses are physically separated by a couple of thousand miles, it is still the same organization. We host an interactive collaborative pool of faculty to explore new horizons of science together.
